Final Fantasy 7-2

The story of this unauthorized sequel takes place 500 years after the original events of FF7. All the characters are original, since there's no point in further developing characters if they were already fully developed in the previous game. The only connection it has with FF7 is the connection to some of FF7's events, such as Meteor and Holy, as well as a custom materia system (No,it's not the same system as FF7. Do you think I'm crazy enough to plotscript FF7's system?). I don't feel like giving away any parts of the story whatsoever, so here are some screenshots.

Though it doesn't show up on the screenshots, the wheels and the background *are* moving.

Heavy use of expressions is one of the things I'm going to focus on in the game.
